How old does my child need to be to play?
A change that started 2012:  any child entering 3rd grade, regardless of birth date, will be eligible to play U9. Teams will be organized according to the children's age.  See the registration page for other age groups.

How much is registration?
Registration is $150 and includes the uniform.
 
Are there tryouts for each team?
No, there are no tryouts. 
 
How far do the teams travel?
Teams generally travel no more than 20-40 minutes for any given game. This includes roughly communities from  Kittery to Portland.

When does the season start, and how long does it last?
The season starts toward the end of August with practices and games starting the last Sunday in August.  The season runs until about the end of October.

Does Wells Soccer  Club offer programs for children older than 11? 
Wells Junior High School is fielding 7th and 8th grade teams for both boys and girls.  Registration for those programs is through the Junior High School.  Look for signups in the Spring prior to the Fall season.
 
In the past, Wells Soccer Club has fielded U13 and U14 teams.  If you are interested in having your child play for the Junior High School and Wells Soccer Club, you can register for the Wells Soccer Club program.  If numbers are not sufficient to field a team, you will be issued a full refund.
 
What is the Player Agent?
The Player Agent is a member of the Wells Soccer Club Board who serves as a liason between parents and the league.  The Player Agent can serve as an alternative to a coach as someone to whom you can voice concerns or complaints regarding any aspect of Wells Soccer Club.  The Player Agent contact information is on the "contact us" page.
